I currently run a pretty decent international 540 manure spreader with a top beater, but for the past few months Ive been driving by a pretty straight new idea 3626 with a top beater that looks to have been sitting in its spot for a number of years on a concrete pad behind a barn. The tires are flat and the main bottom beater is off and laying in the spreader box. What could be wrong with it that would cause them to remove the beater and leave it sitting. Other than being a project that was never finished. And would a 3626 be an upgrade from my IH 540. Its been an exceptional spreader but parts are getting difficult to come by.
