Please treasure and Preserve them .Whole old Newspaper s exist at your public library on micro fish or other modern systems that have captured the news over the last 150 yrs,,When I have to research a event using old newspaper accounts,..I enjoy looking at the difference in journalism ,Early papers were nearly as slanted as today .To the RIGHT.But it yings and yangs , and many cities enjoyed good newspaper journalism while 50 miles away a paper was drowning in conjecture and half truths My favorite truth era started about 1900 and ended in the 1980s .. LOOK at the way the writing and proper choice of words are done so artfully ,,..The Subject matter reaches out and makes you want to know more ,,. The Truth unfolds without confusion ... And it is reported in order as it occurs ,,, and a summary or background is also presented in the story ,,. therefore a common sense explanation of correct details is presented to the reader . Therefore the reader goes away informed ,,. Today newspaper accounts in the Louisville area leave the mind bruised from improper subterfuge and insults to our own intelligence
