I am fortunately in a lot better shape than you, and have been doing a lot of work on my 150 year old post and beam barn. Last year I replaced a bad floor beam with 8x8 hemlock. It must have weighed 180 lbs. I moved it using pipe for rollers. I am doing two more this year. I ordered the replacement 8x8s back in May. They probably weigh 70 lbs. each now. Much more manageable for an arthritic 73 year old phart.
