Do some searching in the Mopar forums to find more about the fluid drive setups.I probably used the wrong terminology by calling it a torque converter,but that is what it looks like.It may really just be a viscous coupling.I believe there is a plug in it that you use to top off the oil.Once you put that thing in gear,you let the clutch out and don't touch it again until you need to change gears.Creeping up to something you just use the brake,you can come to a complete stop at an idle with your foot off the clutch.If you hit the throttle it will fetch up and overcome the brakes.Very smooth operation.
