Sticking my neck out again, I do not think IH felt the Fast Hitch was rated for tractors over 100hp. I do not think the Fast Hitch was offered from the factory on a four digit model 10??, 12?? or 14?? If you saw an actual Fast Hitch on the tractor it may have been dealer install with 966 parts or farmerized. If you were just looking at wording in an add IH did offer the common 3 point ..Quick couplers.. if that was possibly confused. See the 1066 parts diagrams in the link, the hitches are in the ..Frame.. section. The 3 point tugs do mount in like the fast hitch prongs. However, if you look at the 966 parts the Fast Hitch is shown with the rigid ..wishbone.. that holds the receiver sockets at a set spacing.
