Y is 1953.
L would be 1942 or somewhere up in the 1960's, like 1966.
I might be a T which would be 1950. I would be 1937 or 1938 which is before M production even started. Odds are you don't have pre-production parts. The other option is 1963, which is after even 560 production stopped.
F would be even further back in the 1930's well before the M was even a gleam in Raymond Loewy's eye. So it would have to be 1960, which I guess is possible as the 560 was still in production at that time and rear axle housings from a 560 would fit an M.
The serial on the engine is pretty low, and I think it's out of a W6. What's the date code on the block?
