And yes, that IS great news, BUT the same Glaciologists that study this phenomenon point out the difference between the addition of new ice and the subtraction of melting ice is dropping. If the current trends continue, those numbers will reverse, Antarctica will start pumping more water into the Southern Ocean than it removes and sea level rise will accelerate accordingly.
