In our area our county commissioners and other local economic development people were proud to bring in a tire recycling company. At the time it seemed like a very good idea for our area, but guess what? They don't take tires locally. They have contracts with companies from who knows where. So yea right a real benefit for our local economy I think they are a company based in Germany.
