The early BNs had FAB serial numbers but they changed to FABN faily quickly. Sounds like something has been changed on your tractor. The engine serial number is stamped on a flat spot just below number one spark plug, so look for that. Also look for casting codes on the engine and transmission. They will look like 7*20*L. Let us know what you find and maybe post a picture. Dave
