I live/farm on the edge of town, so you know there is always some one watching. The road I live on is gravel and very few folks need to travel on it, but often guys will just drive by to see what is going on. I lived on a busy road as a kid, and my dad was always very conscious of the fact other farmers would be going past , judging his ploughing, or planting, how even the furrows were turned, or straight the rows. And dad loved to plough, and took great pleasure in neighbours saying how good his land looked, or asking him if he could come help them set up their plough. Having others watching just becomes part of life.
