I have a 801 ford s/n 129776. The threads in the carburetor bowl for the main load adjusting assembly are gone. It's a Marvel Schebler TSX918. Was hoping to buy a new or reman. carb but WOW what a big price jump from a 134hp engine carb to a 172hp engine. Can I buy just the bowl for the carb? Will a carb off of any other model ford work? Any suggestion on my old carb? Thanks, Scotty
