For those of you that have a problem with the shoulder strap bothering your shoulder and neck there is an easy solution. Put the seat belt on and pull the shoulder part to where it is loose enough not to bother, usually a few inches and put a clamp on the belt where it comes out of the retracter. That will stop the belt pulling into your shoulder, it will still pull out as normal and will still lock up in an emergency. When you take it off it will not retract so just lay it on the floor beside the seat. I use one of those cheap metal spring clips on the belt.
