Anyone know of manuals for Hagie 437 high tractor. It is a self propelled sprayer built in Clarion Iowa. I believe John Deere acquired Hagie 2 years ago. The model I have is old, and I am restoring it. Probably a late 60's or early 70's model.
The Hagie I own is mechanically driven with a small 4 speed transmission/differential/cross drive output unit that I have never seen before. Anyone know who made these small transmissions? I can supply a picture if needed. The unit also has a variable speed pulley input unit that allows the belt to run on a bushing when stroked all the way past the slowest speed. This provides basically a clutch without having a clutch. Anyone know who made these units? It looks similar to the belt variable speed drive that was on my old Allis Chalmers Gleaner combine.
