Well what state are you in? I would suggest doing a web search for tractor salvage yards in your state and surrounding states. Use words like antique, classic or old. I bet you could get a good start from there. What engine parts you looking for? As a general statement across all brands in a diesel engine like in your XT that puts out a 100hp or more there are a lot of pieces such as pistons that are just not worth reusing. Especially if they are borderline on the discard specs. In some cases like this you have to sacrifice your arm but usually can keep you legs and make your project end up with some longevity so you are not right back staring at the same internals in a year or two.
