My wife bought a washer a few years ago,wanted something modern.At some point it just quit,but it was under extended warranty.All it really did was shut down because the computer said it had a restricted drain.The repairman came and hooked his computer to it,pushed a button and woke it up again.The drain went out the wall behind the machine into the flower bed.Zero restriction.The next time was out of warranty,and cost her $290.My friend piles his scrap up here,and we pulled out a nice looking Maytag he found on the side of the road free.We bought a $22.belt and it works like new.He also found a nice looking Maytag gas dryer,I put two solenoids in it,and that works like new also.Both are early 80's machines.
