Hello JM welcome to YT. I thought I was going to be able to provide you a site that would give you access to view a repair manual for your machine. However, the site ..see link.. does not have this available for your model. The do have them for the IH T4, T6 and T9 and larger models like Jim is referring to. I am not sure where your machine falls but it was produced during the time right after Dresser bought out the IH construction equipment side of the company. The company in the link may be able to supply you clutches for your machine if this is the problem, but I do not know for sure since they do not list your model. The operation Jim has described is correct, but I think it is very possible that the steer/brake clutch configuration varies from the other true IH T series machines. Wow, this must be turning into a construction equipment forum, 4 for the day! All post activity is good here in my book, unless it is OT and not machinery related.
