The tires on my 4430 are worn severely due to lots of miles on the road by the previous owner. I did as suggested and had the fronts dismounted and reversed- the now outer ribs are in great shape and work well for hay mowing, my main purpose. I had the chloride removed from the inner rears and new tubes installed, but left the old, worn tread tires in place, as they work almost like turf tires in the hay fields. They actually look like cut pulling tires. The duals have decent tread, but I leave them inside the barn.
