BTO friend has an IH 1066 and he says it puts out over 1500 HP. He says you think you are hot stuff off the line till the sled digs in. He is a member of a club and says they all have about all they are going to get out of their machines.
I saw a picture, probably on here, where an IH of about the 1066 size that the block has split horizontally about where the water jacket and crankcase crossmember is attached. Blew the top completely off that engine.
