You got good advice from Jim as to downloading an Operator's manual (if you don't already have one), as I recall it's pretty detailed in setting up the lift chain.
Is it possible to move the tractor's drawbar forward, many drawbars have multiple holes in the front so their position can be changed.
Something else I noticed... the mower mechanism can be attached to the main frame that pins to the tractor's arms in two different positions.
Your mower is set up in the ''narrow'' position for a small tractor.
For your larger/wider wheel width tractor it should be changed to the ''wide'' position, moving the cutterbar to the right so your right rear wheel is not rolling over uncut hay.
