Tom, the best alternative to CaCl, which IS messy by the way, and corrosive as all get out, is bolt on wheel weights. They can be pricey, but if you can find them, they put the weight where you need it, don't put unnecessary stress in odd places on the tractor (like the loader frame) and don't get in the way. Also, they go on and come off in multiples, so they're much more manageable than a filled tire.
