I have always liked to go to auctions when the weather and or distance is outside most peoples comfort zone. I figure less people to bid against me. But with online biding that is now not the case. I fear all auctions will soon be online, as the online prices are much higher than the in person auctions. I will miss talking to the neighbors, meeting new people, buying a hotdog and homemade goodies from the food vendor of the day. It will be just one more social gathering of the past, that has fallen to the internet.
