I have replaced fenders permanently and will continue that practice. Ive noticed that a privately owned trailers that get washed regularly last much longer. The trailers that are use by construction companies usually dont get washed as often or as through. And the employees are more interested in getting home on Friday after work than worrying about rusting the trailer and equipment driving on salted roads. My guess is the next set of fenders will last as long as the trailer.
