posted a couple weeks ago about my neighbors 7060. if the tractor sat for a couple months, you had to bleed the injectors to get it started then it would run fine until it sat for a few weeks, then same process. the hand pump does have full pressure when you try to pump it. could not find any leaks. well now during spring tillage it was an every morning ritual. crack the lines at the injectors, crank until fuel shows up, a sniff of ether and away it goes. no noticeable loss in power. as it has a cable shut down, is it possible there is an air leak there? or is the pump going out? he has a 7040 parts tractor, we were thinking if the pumps are the same, pull the 7040 pump and have it serviced then swap them. both have the 7.0 liter engines.
