Today I attended a rare Tuesday afternoon sale...It was for Bob and Susie O'Dell whom lived just north of Carthage,MO...Its been wet and cool so no one can do much farming-etc..It was cloudy and chilly with a north wind so I wore a winter coat for the entire sale..All the old tractors started and ran good...Only two had real good tires..All had battery tenders,,There were several guns and they all sold good.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents.
