I prefer to have only one major project at a time, whether it be a tractor or a house project. That isn't always possible as things break unexpectedly. At this time I have an Oliver 550 that needs split to fix the PTO, but I will not start it until I have the pulling tractor back together. I bought the 550 a few months ago because I thought it was an easy fix and I did not want to miss it. In the meantime, I have passed on some other projects because they would have to sit outside.
