Do both blowers run on low speed or is one possibly stuck?
On low speed the switch puts the two motors in SERIES and they are powered by one circuit breaker.
On high speed EACH motor gets full voltage from two separate breakers, one of which also powers the radio.
Either one of the motors is "bad" causing the breaker to trip or there's a "bad" breaker or a corroded/ poor connection at the breaker.
The breakers are under the left steering pedestal cover, ahead of your left shin,
Take that cover off and the inner cover over the breakers (if it hasn't been lost in the past) and have a look at the breaker connections for one that looks corroded or like it has been hot.
If the inner cover is still there there should be a diagram on the cover showing what each breaker is for, The one (obviously) for "radio and blower" is the one you are looking for.
If the nuts on the breaker studs are tight and clean the breaker may be "bad" or the blower motor fed from that breaker.
