Some of the area around Burlington and Alva are so flat you have to pick up one corner to see which way the water will run in OK then you go to Medicine Lodge KS and you will not think KS is flat anymore if you drive US 160 from Medicine Lodge to Coldwater It is like a roller coaster. If you ever drive it you will likely not forget it. Just like driving north or south on NE 61 from Ogallala NE to SD line. I cut wheat around Kiowa to Anthony KS and out around Arnold over to Leoti Ks then over to Siebert CO. Around Leoti you can pick up a corner to see which way the water will run also. Closer to Gove KS you can see which way it will run. That stretch from Selkirk KS down toward Lakin KS is a hilly stretch to work on though.
