Im just south of I 40 in the Ft Smith area. Not unusual when Oklahoma is dry like it has been when thunderstorm from the West brings us a rain with red mud. Couple weeks ago this red mud was on windshields after a good rain. My theory is that the rain was basically from the OKC area and it came in ahead of the wind born dust from farther West and the dust settled on us. They are generous enough to give us a dusting of their top soil every now and then. Hope they had their fertilizer out LOL. My family is from Grant Co (North Central ) and we kinda like Oklahoma.
