I was married at the time, our first child was born at Fort Sill Army Hospital. I remember incidental things about the base, living in town, and so on. No bad memories about weather, although I do recall it being fairly hot in summer. Wife had an uncle who was a B-52 pilot, lived in a town not too far away. He gave us a ride in his Corvair, first one I ever rode in!
