Way stricter because they NEED to be. Human waste is full of heavy metals and narcotics, and that's just what comes out of the human. Everything else that gets flushed along with the human waste, like household chemicals, pesticides, herbicides... I'm talking straight-up dumped down the drain, not microscopically small trace amounts that might be on the food you ate that passed through your system.
Pig poo is pig poo. There might be trace amounts of medications used to treat sick pigs in it, but you don't feed your pigs meth, or treat them with opiates, or straight-up dump full-strength roundup in the lagoon.
The difference is VISIBILITY. Ask the average city person where their poo goes, "Down the toilet." Pig poo? Why, you can SEE it! It's STINKY! EEEEW! They just dump it out in the open!
