This is a very small; crude and cheap system. No Solar Charge Controller Just a solar panel hooked to a battery then from battery to a actuator. The draw is only about 1.5 amp hours per week.
I realize a volt meter hooked to the battery should show higher voltage with a power source connected. The problem is the difference between battery and charging battery voltage is going to be so small I was afraid of not being able to notice the charge on the meter.
Hence the reason I was looking for a differant way to measure charging.
