I agree with kansas4010, it's hard to picture what you actually got, with that vague of a discription. You could have something any where from really nice, to junk for the iron man.
For what it's worth, nobody uses loading shoots anymore for cattle, sense everyone has went to gooseneck trailers (ground load). About the only people that even mess around with a loading shoot are, people that haul cattle in a semi. And if they got enough cattle to require a semi, they are likely not going to mess around with a loading shoot that isn't nice, heavy duty, etc. And go up high enough to the deck of a semi trailer (pot). Not just up high enough for a pick-up.
The squeeze shoot. There is just to many variables that it could be. If like new, and not very old, it could be worth what a new one is. If not, brand name, condition, what it's functions are, and so on is everything.
I'm guessing if your brother just left them behind and it was not part of a business sepperation with you, or something similar, they probably aren't worth a whole lot. Meaning, if he purchased and was using this stuff, he likely knew its value and what he was leaving behind. Maybe he figured it would be of more use to you to just have it, than what he could get out if it.
