This happened to a guy I know. Bought a vehicle from his friend. Winched it on his trailer. Then proceeded to stand around BSing with him while he was there. Subject came up about what it would take to get the vehicle running. Buyer told seller that problem isn't what he thought it was. And that it's likely a much simpler problem. After some, I'm right your wrong talk, a bet was made. Buyer got the vehicle running right there on the trailer before he even left with it. Anyways, seller got mad. Was embarassed that it was so simply fixed. Felt like he was getting screwed over. Wanted more money for it. Turned out to be a bad deal. Caused an end to the friendship for the 2 of them.
