Roadless was a older than County in the tractor market, they were building tracked tractors with rubber jointed tracks in the 1920's based on the Ford tractors of the time.
The Roadless 115 and 120 used a Ford 5000 transmission and a Ford 2714E six cylinder engine as did County. Whereas the County tractors had twin front axle drive shafts running from the half shafts, Roadless took the front axle drive from a sandwich box between gear box and rear axle.
The Roadless 115 and 120 had a tighter turning circle than the County models.
Other tractors in the range used small front wheels as todays tractors do. Other pictures of Roadless products will appear in due course.
