I agree on the odd dimensions. Maybe for a farmer that always had to be the first to start harvest? Would be better for higher moisture corn and he wanted more equipment storage. Around my area a company by the name of Behlen Mfg used to make a metal mesh crib that was rectangular in shape. No driveway in the middle by itself and was a little wider than this one but worked well for the first corn picked every year. They were really popular back in the day. I still have one standing on our farm but it hasn't been used in years. Thanks for the pictures every day by the way!!!
