Now that is a rare one, only 130 were built of all models over a three year period, it is a Bray/Nuffield 4/65.
The base tractor was designed by Harry Ferguson for The British Motor Corporation but the style was not liked by farmers, the engine could vibrate as it had no balancer, the steering was
very heavy but it would pull like a steam train.
The 4/65 was only in production from 1967 to 1969 before BMC was taken over by
British Leyland, the tractor colour was changed, modifications were made to the
engine and new body styling was introduced.
I own a 1968 Nuffield 4/65 and I love her for all her faults. My engine does not
vibrate and she is fast on the road. twice I have driven her two hundred miles on
the road and to many ploughing days about the county of Norfolk.
