Factory on the td 466 ih engines in as TD 15C dozer and lot of the Case and IH farm tractors. About a foot round device with lots of small plastic tubes before the actual air breather and the exhaust vacuum pulled it pre cleaned the air goin to the breather. Worked very good until the muffler was replaced and most folks did away with it then. The only place tog et the muffler with the tube was IH and it was very costly back in those days.
