Had to do that to a dodge pickup on the side of the road one time very slightly nicked the spindle with the torch. Boss complained. I said it could still be on there and we could set here forever. I polished it with some emery cloth put a new bearing on and away we went. Was still on there last time I saw it. It had started to weld it's self on to the spindle turning. Polish it up some and locktite on the spindle to help the bearing if it is just slightly loose and a prick punch, all will be good.
