It would be good to have down pressure using a rear mount snow blower. I used to have it on the home built hitch on the Cockshutt 40 but this JD 2140 has zero down pressure. Hard enough to keep it down on the ground. Was riding up over rock hard snow drifts today although to be fair, it was so hard I ended up using the front end loader bucket to break up the drifts first.
