Sorry Phil, could you tell me what ..HV phase.. means in this case? The three lower wires are the two 110 feeds and a neutral. I am talking about the three evenly spaced ones there is a single lower wire that is the cable TV. All 4 houses fed by that pole connect to those. Mine is the overhead drop and 3 others are buried. My assumption has always been that the transformers along the block all connected to those three lines as did all the homes on the block. So simply would a power company ..parallel feed.. transformers to a line in this manner? Because the question in my mind came up when the comment was made that a short in the feed panel would blow the transformer fuse before a serious arc flash occurred. But in my case if the assumption is correct the fuses on all feeding transformers would have to blow so you would have the possibility of far more amps or kw. Sorry if any of the terms are incorrect.
