I used to fish it when stationed at Bergstrom. I wade fished and caught perch. On one occasionI had my stringer tied to a belt loop. I was fishing and kept feeling a jerking at my side. I finally turned around to see a Cotton Mouth with a mouth full of the last perch oh the stringer, top of his mouth and eye balls up where I could look right at them, big sucker.... tugging at it and trying to get it back in the lilly pads from which it emerged. Was an unpleasant experience. Lots of Moccasins in that place.
