In digging around on B-S (I wondered if it had any connection to the old Kelly-Springfield truck co of Springfield) I see it was acquired by the Koehring Company, becoming their Buffalo Springfield Division, but whether it's still going I dont know...ALSO: I noted several units posted, and I just noticed the shop numbers seemed to run consecutively: 1924 steam #12442, 9-17-27 ? #14015, 1928 steam #14795, 8-12-33 #16000 (they were making steam and gasoline units in the mid-20's, perhaps earlier). If Koehring or it's successor has no prod info, and the "shop numbers" were consecutive, one might build a rough dateline by compiling the units in various posts...
