Use whatever brand of oil you want. And whatever weight is acceptable in your region. Just rinse out tank with fresh gas. Don't get to picky on that. Any tar or crud in thier will likely dissolve and delute into fresh gas and be gone over time anyways. Add small amounts to gas tank to start out with. Don't just fill the dang thing clear up right from the get go. That way your gas to carb gets a little better as you go along, without having to burn up a whole tank of gas first. Your tractor should be equiped with an oil bath air cleaner. All you need to do to those, is change oil in the cup at the bottom, and clean that cup out during the process.
