Many years ago I broke an axle on the IH400 with a mounted 2ME picker on it in the middle of a wet spot in the field when the temperature was near freezing. It was not fun lifting the tractor, pulling out the broken axle and then replacing it. It took lots of blocking to hold the whole thing up. Getting the splines lined on the bull gear was the worst. I think we learned a lot of new words during that project. Ken
