You may not be able to see that I put a brass ball valve on my air compressor so when I'm done using air, I shut off the ball valve and the power to the compressor. It's probably not necessary I turn the power off because the air compressor doesn't leak air. Compressor turns off around 150 psi. That's where it remains, 150 psi. I never have to fill tires, I just top off the air in tires. Sometimes I top off the car or truck and compressor doesn't even come on.
