Spent 2 hours yesterday clearing some ground next to the orchard. My boy's new hobby is cutting down trees. So I cleared the ground where I want my boy to drop some trees, skin the small branches and push them off to the edge of the gravel pit rim. The small telephone size posts will be saved for a neighbor to burn in his outdoor boiler.
It's not that I don't have a chainsaw and could do the work myself. I just want to spend time with my boy and let him have some fun. I have a lot of fun for him to cut. This is the first place. My boy works for food too. He loves cornbread, ham and beans.
