Two years ago my daughter and her family moved to another state. I told my 11 year old grand daughter her mom was about to become the dumbest person you know and you will hate her for it. She told me no way. I love my mom. We ended with I wish I could be there to help you through these rough years.
I saw my grand daughter for the first time since they left about 3 weeks ago; she is now 13. I ask her how she and her mom are getting along. She admitted they were having problems. I reminded her I predicted this and she could see that grandpa might not be so dumb after all. All I can do is hope our little talks will help her threw her teen years.
