jm. Tell Larry next time you find a Terramite in your Hood. How old was the terramite?? If it had a good engine that would make a parts tractor. The engine costs about $2000. Pump and torque motor aren't cheap either. Parts aren't cheap, period. Let me know the next time one comes up for $2500.
Karen goes nuts with the 8 inch alligator. She is ruff on them. Burned up 2 so far. I repaired one. We have 2 spare gators. She loves attacking the honeysuckle in the winter. No gardening, so she goes after honeysuckle. Good thing we ran out of battery power yesterday. 3 hours a day is enough.
No way will I run a tractor through a jungle with a cab.
I had to cut many branches in my trees when using Kubota to mow the yard.
I'm also glad the terramite doesn't have a radiator, air cooled. Yesterday I picked up a stick and would have put a hole in a radiator.
One time I picked a stick and put it in the crankshaft seal.
No way would I even consider damaging the cab windows.
I had to relocate the lights on Kubota. Tree branches broke two lights.
Terramites are for Jungle work and safer than most open air tractors. It has a full roll cage and a seat belt. You can't imagine how dangerous jungle warfare is when pushing branches that could come back and get you.
Tractors without a full roll cage and seat belts are death machines.
