my guess is the only way to get the tach to work is to find a generator with the same tach drive. I know the 333 and 444 had tach drives like the one in the photo.I dont know if the 44s and 44 specials have the same type of generators and tach drives There werent a lot of triples made so you might have a hard time finding a generator with a tach drive. Im sure theres a Massey guys on this board that no more about it than I do.
