yes, i realize all that and i filled it also with the shell oil. but i dont want that junk in my truck anymore. it kinda shocked me the oil was down to add. i said that fricken shell. once i get castrol or even mobil back in i will monitor it closely , cause im sure i proved a point, and that you will get more engine wear using junky oil. plus i have proved it years ago on a ford 391 engine also.
